So, per the magic of spontaneous FaceBook posting, the other day I went public with my interest-->commitment to go to Europe next summer, tentatively aiming for July-August. For this past summer 2010, I wanted to go Barcelona-southFrance-Italy-Switzerland, but with my killer schedule it never happened.
So then, 2 of us started talking about getting people to meet in Paris, everyone over-committing to what a great time they could have, then dispersing for about 12 days, and then returning to Paris to compare stories, eat and drink too much, and then fly back the the US. To me, it sounds like a total blast. From Austin to Paris is $1,500--your price and mileage may vary.
